About the Role:
The School of Management at ARU is seeking to appoint a Research Fellow in the Centre for Intelligent Supply Chains. The Research Fellow would support the activities of the Centre, including income generation, research, and knowledge exchange. CISC brings together a community of scholars with academic and professional expertise in sustainability, disruptive technologies, and data analytics. The Centre for Intelligent Supply Chains brings industry and academia together to enable organisations to improve strategic decision-making through data-driven competitiveness, growth, resilience, and sustainability. A growing focus of research in CISC is on the technology enabled sustainable and resilient supply chains, and this Fellowship will support, and grow, that area of research, working alongside academic colleagues.
The post holder would support bidding and funding applications, and the development of scholarly outputs and pathways to impact from the Centre’s activities. They would also use insights from research on the CISC and management to inform teaching and curriculum development and enhance student experience and employability in the wider Faculty.
Candidates should have a degree plus PhD or Professional Doctorate and a proven record of research experience and outputs. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential for this role. You will have the ability to meet deadlines, sometimes under pressure as well as the ability to think innovatively.
