We are seeking an exceptional individual with a track record of teaching and research in biological sciences to join the School of Medicine and be the programme director of a newly approved part-time distance learning (PT-DL) course in Clinical Embryology & In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF).
The successful candidate will join the reproductive medicine group which involves a collaboration between NHS Tayside, Medical School and School of Life Sciences. We run a successful Full Time Taught Post Graduate Masters in Human Clinical Embryology and Assisted Conception since 2014 (Human Clinical Embryology & Assisted Conception MSc | University of Dundee) and as programme director of the PT-DL program the appointee will make a significant contribution to the development of the course, including recruitment, marketing, development of online materials, teaching, marking, supervision of research projects and providing feedback of assessments on the course.
There will be a significant contribution to research (in medical education- or reproductive science) including production of high quality internationally competitive journal articles and to foster interdisciplinary links across the wider University.
