We are recruiting for an exceptional Assessment Manager for the School of Medicine’s Undergraduate Medical Education division. The post of Assessment Manager is an exciting opportunity as they will coordinate the daily functions of a busy professional assessment team who provide administrative support for a range of Learning, Teaching and Assessment activities required to deliver the portfolio of undergraduate degrees. These include the Gateway, MBChB, BMSc and Graduate Entry Medical Degree (ScotGEM) which is a 4-year medical programme delivered jointly by Dundee and St Andrews Universities and gateway programmes.
The postholder will be responsible for ensuring an efficient, professional, and friendly approach to students, academic and external staff. With a meticulous, thorough approach to work and excellent written and verbal communication skills, the role holder will use initiative and judgement in order to prioritise key and urgent tasks.
